Best ~$100 ever spent on my home theater (bang for buck) was the govee light system for my TV:

AmazonSmile: Govee Envisual TV LED Backlights for 75-85 inch TVs, 16.4ft RGBIC WiFi DreamView T1 TV Backlights with Camera, Works with Alexa & Google Assistant, App Control, LED Lights for TV, Scene Mode, H6199 : Home & Kitchen

This system worked as advertised - check out the demo video. It makes your big screen…feel BIGGER, more powerful and immersive. You will not be disappointed.

Note: I did use the trick of mounting the camera for the system below the TV instead of above it. Took a little bit to calibrate system correctly, but was not “hard”. Worth every penny.

I can’t show that to my husband. He will suddenly need one :joy:

My best tip is to properly calibrate your system. In my case it’s using an SPL meter (even after room correction software - Audysee etc) for the audio as well as buying a Color meter to calibrate my projector.

Not the best / welcoming tip, but in these times energy costs huge amount of money, so my advice is to (also) turn off your chairs and HEMC when not in use. Every little step helps in reducing energy costs.

I think ANY tips are welcome, not only the best ones

Indeed! We love eco-friendly tips!

The best decision that I made was to include the back lighting kit with my SI screen. This way it’s never a strain on your eyes when watching a movie.

I found the HEMC with microphone was not ideal for my theater setup, you have to run the microphone cable all the way to the front center channel for best results (my components are in the back on a rack). so the trick I went with was a short wire with banana plugs on side to a 3.5mm plug. 3.5 into hemc audio in and left and right banana plugs in center channel of AV receiver.

If you have an OPPO 4k player, you can use the HDMI input and split out the down mixed audio to your D-Box controller.

Side tip: Always make sure your DBox system is in perfect sync before giving demos.
